Lumidée participated in the reviatization of a popular park in the center of Pardubice.
The lighting of the Tyršovy sady park in Pardubice formed part of the overall project of repairing and improving this popular place near the winter stadium of local hockey players. This beautiful place in the Pardubice chateau has been deserted for many years and the plan to repair it has suffered from disputes inside and outside the town hall. In the end, all obstacles were overcome and in 2014 construction began. The restored park was ceremoniously reopened in the fall of 2015.
The resulting impression is very favorable. The entrance to Tyršovy sady is dominated by a newly built functionalist café. In the park itself, the modern space sensitively works with older vegetation and the presence of a nearby castle.
After dark, a completely different park appears than in daylight. Lumidée’s Linia U18 LED profiles, in particular, are used to illuminate the park and are used to illuminate the promenade, but also to illuminate the staircase, where they are located in the railings. The same luminaires were also used for the funny lighting of wooden benches. The main sidewalks are also lit by Ares floor lamps and Woody spotlights by the Italian company iGuzzini, which are mainly used for lighting through decorative grasses.
